A manufacturer’s commission
This stock was carved by Paul Crochat at the request of the gunmaker himself, for an exceptional piece. Foliage in relief along the grip, an engraved medallion on the side.
Gunmakers call on him for what a machine cannot do: follow the grain of the wood, adapt the motif to the piece, and sign a unique work.
