200 years of Verney-Carron
This stock was carved by Paul Crochat at the request of Verney-Carron, gunmakers in Saint-Étienne since 1820, for an exceptional piece celebrating the company’s 200th anniversary. Foliage carved in relief along the grip, an engraved medallion on the side.
Gunmakers call on him for what machines cannot do: following the grain of the wood, adapting the motif to the piece, and signing a unique work.
