Paul Crochat is committed to making his website accessible to as many people as possible,
in line with the spirit of accessibility standards (WCAG / RGAA).
Conformance status
This site was designed to meet WCAG 2.1 levels A and AA. An automated audit
(axe-core) carried out during the redesign found no non-conformities on the main
pages: home, shop, artwork page, gallery, workshops, reviews and contact.
What has been implemented
- high colour contrast (light text on a dark background, all above the AA threshold);
- a consistent heading structure and full keyboard navigation;
- alternative text on artwork images;
- clear labels on form fields and the language switcher;
- respect for the system “reduce motion” setting.
Known limitations
Some secondary artwork views and ambient images do not yet have detailed alternative text.
The booking calendar is provided by a third party (Wecandoo) whose accessibility we do not fully
control.
